scholarships: 2009 RECIPIENTS
We awarded more than 30 scholarships at our annual Scholarship and Awards Ceremony in April, thanks to the thoughtful gifts of friends of the school and of current and former faculty members and students who have scholarships named in their honor. The total funding for student scholarships in the School of Education is well over $1 million. These gifts provide the opportunity to support outstanding students as they pursue their academic degrees preparing to be teachers, counselors, athletic trainers, school leaders, health professionals, human resource directors, or other opportunities to serve in education, health or agency related professions.
