Virginia Education Job Expo
Virginia Education Job Expo On behalf of the Virginia Association of School Personnel Administrators, teacher applicants are encouraged to register for the Virginia Education Job Expo to be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008, in Fredericksburg. Higher Education Tuition Assistance Program (HETAP)
   
In July 2000, the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia, using funds from the federal Special Leveraging Educational Partnership, created the Higher Education Teacher Assistance Program (HETAP). The program was established to help address the teacher shortage in Virginia by assisting undergraduate students enrolled in a K-12 teacher preparation program.
