SOE Associates (SOEA) -- Off-Campus Programs

For more than twenty years, SOE Associates (previously the Office of Continuing Education) has been an integral partner with the K-12 and adult learner sectors of education. Continuing education is a high priority for Virginia Commonwealth University and the School of Education.

SOEA serves approximately 1,500 students each semester throughout the state of Virginia by coordinating all off-campus courses for the School of Education. The role of the office is to promote, in close cooperation with school districts, agencies and health institutions, professional development opportunities for teachers, clinicians, administrators and others seeking to further their education. Some online and blended courses are available, and others are being developed to meet recertification and other professional development needs.

The goal of SOEA is to provide further academic opportunities for professionals within the education community.

NOTICE: If an Off-Campus location is closed due to inclement weather, courses meeting at that location will not meet. Also, if VCU courses are canceled, then all off-campus courses are canceled!
