Certificate in Online Teaching for K-12 Educators
Created to address the need for effective online instructors thanks to the unprecedented growth of K–12 online education, the Certificate in Online Teaching for K-12 Educators prepares candidates to develop and facilitate effective online instruction environments.
The certificate expands on participants’ current teaching expertise in instructional strategies, curriculum design, and assessment and evaluation to adapt to fully online and hybrid teaching environments. It also fosters the development of instructional leaders who can model and articulate best practices in online teaching within K-12 environments.
The Certificate in Online Teaching for K-12 Educators can be completed entirely online — no campus visits are required.
The Certificate in Online Teaching for K-12 Educators requires a minimum of 17 total graduate credit hours:
