Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is responsible for reviewing research protocols, identifying potential research projects, and reviewing technical study proposals. This year’s MERC Steering Committee includes the following:

Penny Blumenthal, Asst. Director of Research and Planning Henrico County Public Schools

Beverly Cook, Director of Secondary Education Colonial Heights City Schools

Linda Hyslop, Assistant Superintendent Hopewell City Public Schools

Sandy Lynch, Director of Instruction Powhatan County Public Schools

Carole Urbansok O'Brien, Associate Director of Guidance, Testing, and Research Hanover County Public Schools
