GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

ENDOWED PROFESSORSHIPS & SCHOLARSHIPS

The late Dr. Gaynelle Whitlock, left, with her 2008 scholarship recipient Melissa Joiner

The VCU School of education has 27 endowed scholarships. Scholarships are established at the $10,000 level and up. Each year, a portion of the earnings from the endowment are used to assist students, and the balance is reinvested in the principal. We currently have one endowed professorship. The endowed funds of this professorship will be used to support research, graduate assistants, and equipment.

If you are interested in learning about how you can start a scholarship or fund a professorship, please contact Magnus Johnsson at (804) 827-1363 or johnssonm@vcu.edu.
