Magnus H. Johnsson, CFRE
Executive Director of External Relations & Development
Magnus Johnsson enjoys working with the alumni and friends whose gifts support and enhance the work of the VCU School of Education. He is available to talk with you by phone or in person about your ideas for gifts or any questions you may have about supporting the school.
Magnus has worked in the development field for the past 14 years with a background in non-profit fundraising and management. He joined the team of the School of Education in 2007 and likes the fact that the mission of the school so strongly reflects his own values.
He is a long-time resident of Richmond’s Fan District and is a graduate of James Madison University. He has been accredited by CFRE International as a Certified Fund Raising Executive. Also, he is a past president of the Virginia Association of Fund Raising Executives (VAFRE).
