Research Interests
Dr. Hilary E. Hughes-Decatur received her Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Middle School Education from the University of Georgia. Previously, she was a seventh and eighth grade language arts teacher at Eagle County Charter Academy in Edwards, Co., and a district literacy coach. Dr. Hughes-Decatur's research interests include young adolescents and body image, and equity-oriented teacher education. She teaches courses in secondary curriculum and instruction.
