Research Interests

My research interests are in the areas of early literacy development, using hypertext for increasing comprehension, Instant Messaging and social networking, electronic study skills, as well as emerging and new literacies. Dr. Rhodes is also interested in assessment and instructional strategies for remediating reading difficulties.
