The Autism Education Consortium’s Board of Directors was established in June of 2008. Each of the participating school divisions in Region 1 is represented on the Board of Directors. The following is a list of the current Board of Directors:

Virginia Commonwealth University has partnered with the Region 1 Schools to offer support in this endeavor. John Kregel, Department Chair at VCU is VCU's representative on the Board and is also a member of the Executive Committee.

Along with the Board of Directors, the Consortium has a Facilitator that works with the Board and all of the member school divisions.  The Facilitator is Carrie Radigan.
