2008-2009
We have enjoyed an outstanding year of connection and achievement; and remained fundamentally grounded in our core values of preparing our students to work in culturally and linquistically-diverse settings, of conducting high-quality research that is relevant and responsive, and of collaborating with our university and community partners. Highlights this year include awarding 532 degrees with a total student enrollment of 2,297, being ranked 38th by "U.S. News & World Report" for outstanding graduate schools, and securing a record $20.4 million in external funding. |

2007-2008
The achievements of the faculty and students have been remarkable this academic year and have contributed to the recognition of the VCU School of Education as one of the top schools of education in the nation. We have been particularly responsive to three major themes of excellence: 1) attracting high-quality and engaged scholars; 2) advancing partnerships; and 3) conducting research that is relevant and assists in the preparation of future scholars who will provide answers to questions we have yet to ask. |
