 Secondary Curriculum - Module6
 
Module 6 focuses on using the Internet to support your students' learning. The goal of this module is to cover five areas of exploration. These areas include:
1. Literacy/Internet Relationship
2. Child Internet Safety
3. Internet Workshop/Scavenger Hunts
4. Internet Inquiry
5. Collaborative Internet Projects

At the end of this module students should be able to:
1. Understand the relationship between literacy and the Internet.
2. Create a safe environment for students to use the Internet by creating an AUP and classroom Internet policies.
3. Create an Internet Workshop/Scavenger Hunt connected to curriculum content.
4. Use Internet resources to engage students in inquiry projects connected to curriculum content.
5. Participate in and create collaborative Internet projects connected to curriculum content.

Each lesson includes articles and/or Power Point presentations that provide foundational information regarding the topic and activities that provide hands-on opportunities to try out the suggested strategies. The lessons are designed to take approximately 2 hours to complete.
